ROOM DIVISION MANAGER
Main purpose:
The Room Division Manager is responsible for the operations, strategies and development of Room Division, ensuring the highest standards of service and compliance with our policies, standards and procedures.
He/she will manage and coordinate the departments’ managers in order to achieve the relevant key performance indicators of the property.
Responsible for: Front Office, Concierge, and Housekeeping.
Reports to: General Manager.
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Responsible for Room Division effective management and Guest service delivery. He/she will be the role model of The Leading Hotels of the World service style: great attention to personalization of Guest service and interaction and outstanding knowledge of the location.
- Responsible for selection and development of direct reports, monitoring performance and providing feedback; responsible for support direct reports in team selection, management and development.
- Responsible for leading the division in order to reach financial, quality and people objectives.
- Cooperation with Reservations to maximize occupancy and room revenue.
- Development of profit improvement ideas.
- Assist the General Manager in order to assure compliance with health and safety regulations in the Room Division.
- Responsible for suggesting inputs for room division budgeting and forecasting.

Other requirements:
- Fluent in Italian and English. A third language is preferred (German/ Russian).
- Professional experience as Room Division Manager in 5-star hotels.
- Preferable degree in hotel management.
- Preferable evidence of self-development through specialized courses, conferences/workshops.
