The Saturnalia Detox – Rebirth on the Solstice programme includes:
- Medical check-up with anthropometric and BIA assessment, physiological and dietary history and introduction to the dietary path in the facility and follow up on the day of departure
- Breakfast, lunch and detox dinner with Terme di Saturnia Method menu
- Evening herbal tea ritual
- 3 thematic group yoga sessions in the morning
- 1 ritual of the five directions and 1 Etruscan ritual dedicated to the Winter Solstice in the evening.
- 3 guided morning walks
- 1 Gommage & plankton (50′) exfoliating treatment to smooth the skin and prepare it to receive the benefits of thermal water.
- 1 Saturnia Detox (80′) treatment to eliminate liquids and toxins accumulated in the body.
- 1 Cryotherapy session

The waters of Terme di Saturnia, famous since antiquity for their therapeutic properties, will be at the centre of your regeneration journey. With a natural temperature of 37.5°C and a rich mineral content, these waters promote muscle relaxation, improve circulation and deeply purify. Their combined action with Terme di Saturnia Method ensures deep detoxification, helping the body rid itself of toxins and prepare for spiritual and physical rebirth.
Ceremony of Light
The ceremony of Light, an ancient ritual of the Saturnalia, will celebrate the moment when the days begin to lengthen again until the opposite moment, the Summer Solstice at the end of June. The Winter Solstice is thus a time of rebirth from which processes are triggered that will lead to spring and the blossoming of life. The ceremony of Light will take place in the presence of Demeter, the Goddess who is the very symbol of rebirth and the cycle of life. Fragrant vapours will emanate from Demeter, and the dress code for participants in the ceremony will be white. A Kernos, the Etruscan terracotta candelabrum, will be placed in the centre of the sacred circle. We will read parts of Proclus’ Hymn to Helios, with a musical background of Etruscan flutes in 432 Hz vibration, in tune with cosmic harmony. Everyone will have in front of them, a candle symbolising the return of light, a saucer with a small seed, a small pot with a little earth and a goblet to hold water. We plant the seed in the earth, we entrust it with a thought that it will germinate, we pour the water that is inside the chalice. Everyone will be poured, according to the Etruscan rite and using the Kyatos (terracotta pourer), the drink contained in the central crater. Together we will drink from Etruscan chalices in honour of Helios.
