The Skin Anti Age programme dedicated to skin health integrates chronodiet with coking classes and mindfulness guidance with mindful eating.

The quality of our skin is directly influenced by what we eat and when we choose to eat it.
The cooking class teaches how to nourish the skin from within with the principles of chronodiet, and the mindfulness practice educates deep breathing and mindfulness by helping to recognise the body’s hunger and satiety signals, promoting more conscious food choices and reducing stress and inflammation. The inner calmness gained will be reflected in the skin, giving it a radiant and renewed appearance.
The chronodiet, synchronises meals with the body’s natural cycles of activity and rest. This approach not only improves metabolism and digestion but is also designed to optimise the repair and regeneration processes of the skin, which occur mainly at night. Foods rich in antioxidants, omega-3, and essential vitamins are selected to support the skin in the fight against inflammation and ageing, and the synchronisation of meals with our body’s circadian rhythms enhances the repair and regeneration processes that occur mainly at night.

Benefits of the chronodiet on skin health:

  1. Improved skin repair: during the night, the skin enters a preparation and regeneration phase, actively working to repair DNA damage accumulated during the day due to exposure to environmental factors such as UV rays. Observing a chronodiet that includes an adequate night fast can enhance this natural process, as the body is not distracted by digestive functions and can focus its energy on cellular repair.
  2. Reducing inflammation: a diet that respects circadian rhythms can help reduce systemic inflammation, a contributing factor to acne, rosacea, and other inflammatory skin conditions.

Roberta Mannucci
Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Perugia.
From 1993 to 2012, he carried out basic research at the Confocal Microscopy and Image Analysis Laboratory of the Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine of the same University. In 2012, she completed her PhD in Oncology at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, where she also collaborated on research in onco-hematology.
From 2014 to 2017, she designed and participated in nutrition education and prevention projects in the field of nutrition, collaborating with the Nutrition Science and Communication research project ‘Smart Food’ of the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, with which she still collaborates.
From 2017 to 2022, she held the position of Associate Medical Director at the UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre) Institute for Health in Chianciano T and worked as a nutritionist and scientific head of research projects.

The scientific activity is documented by 50 papers published in peer-reviewed journals, 2 chapters in books with international circulation, 4 chapters in books with national circulation and 3 chapters on educational CD-ROMs produced by Purdue University, producing an H-index of 32′.

Francesca Cerretani
Psychologist, she graduated in Clinical and Community Psychology from the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’. She trained as a sports psychologist and is a councillor of the Tuscan committee of the Italian Federation of Sports Psychologists, as a sexologist at the Hospital Medical School in Rome and Lazio and at the Italian Centre of Sexology in Bologna. She provides psychological counselling and support to individuals, couples, and groups. She works, through various initiatives and collaborations, to promote a culture of psychological wellbeing, through various activities including motivational coaching/counseling, stress management and psycho-corporeal and mindfulness techniques.
